Roses are...Purple?

Our first project for cake decorating classes - roses!! They were so much fun to make - I have made about 10 as we will be making a flower topper with them soon. These began as white and were then dusted with a lilac colour.

Next week we are making carnations so I will post some photo's of them soon.

Recycle Glori-isness!!

I had to do a post on one of my favourite shops. Basically it's an up-market op-shop and I've found some amazing bargains there!!

Recycle Boutique is vintage gold - they sell clothes on your behalf, so it's a great place to drop off and sell all those items you don't wear and get some cash back for them. Also it's the perfect place for people like me to pick up amazing pieces which are now some of my favourite wardrobe staples.

Some of my finds are shown above, the blue shirt is an absolute favourite and every time I wear it I get comments. Perfect for $15!! The black trench with buckles is perfect for weekends and work and the black jacket with the teal trim is my go-to for nights out with friends or when I'm going to the ballet.
