This is what I need to get my hands on on pay day (not till next week! Boo!) I have dreams of making all kinds of tasty goodies...remember my Turkish delight? I want to attempt that again plus find the perfect fudge recipe and perhaps make some toffee...

Thanks so much for all of your support on my Cakey Business post last Monday! I was so excited I emailed the lady about the markets the middle of last week. They aren't taking any more food stall holders for this year, but may be for next year.

Unfortunately the rules are pretty tight when you're selling food to members of the public here in New Zealand and I would need to make my cupcakes in a certified commercial kitchen. I investigated if I would be able to certify my home kitchen, but according to the local council rules you must have a separate kitchen from your domestic kitchen, where you produce the food. *sigh* so it's all a bit complicated!! There is one other option, where I could find a Cafe/Bakery or Hall that would let me use their certified kitchen after hours, although I can imagine how much they might like to charge and I would have to factor that into my prices somehow...

 Anyway!! It's good to know there are options. In the mean time I'm going to practice at home and keep making cakes and cupcakes for friends and family.

Weekly Wishlist - Label Maker

Well, yes this isn't very exciting really, but I have wanted one of these for years and have never got round to it. So this is my reminder to myself I NEED one now, I have to label all my different containers of colours and miscellaneous cake decorating supplies so I know whats what - I just opened up my box of stuff to tidy it up to take to class next week and it's a bit of a mess! This handy little tool would fix that up pretty quick I reckon...

Weekly Wishlist - Leopard Print Scarf

Yes, I know it is still summer here!! But I can't get the thought of a leopard print scarf out of my head...I think it would look awesome with my purple ski jacket and my basic black trench coat for winter...

Well at least the good thing about shopping out of season is you get some tasty bargains!

Maybe I'll receive one or two, I know I'll be eating lots of chocolate though! I'm so looking forward to Christmas, even if I still have to do my Christmas shopping - better late than never!

On the list for this week - a black maxi dress. Can't wait to rock it during the day alone with some sandals, then throw on a sparkley cardy and add a clutch to head out for a drink with friends.

Weekly Wishlist - Satchel

On my Weekly Wishlist this week is a nice black satchel. This would be perfect to take to work, instead of my current bag which I always struggle to find stuff in!

Basic black would be the best choice for me I think, I like to have a bit of sparkle in my clothes so it would be best to keep my accessories neutral.

Now off to Trademe to see what I can find!!

Tick it off the Wishlist - Hightop Sneakers

Yay!! I am so happy to tick one item off my wishlist. I found these on Trademe yesterday and it didn't take much for me to push that "buy now" button...

They are actually the same as my current silver ones but in shiny black - I'm eagerly awaiting their arrival in the letterbox now!!

Weekly Wishlist - Shoe Cutters

Phew! Finally I have Internet again, it has been a long 2 weeks without it!!

This week on my weekly wishlist is shoe cutters. My cake decorating teacher introduced these to me a couple of weeks ago and I can't wait to get my hands on some and start churning out shoes! I found this great little post on bakingproject.com, her shoes are gorgeous!

Speaking of cake decorating I am busy making a fondant sleigh for my christmas cake, filled with presents and candy canes. I can't wait to take some photos once it is all put together!!

This week my wishlist item is a pair of new Hightops! I love my current pair as seen in my Blog banner above, but they unfortunately had a disastrous meeting with a heater so I am in need of a new pair. I have my heart set on a black studded pair, now I just have to keep a look out for them!
